Guy Raymond

Born in Manhattan, Guy Raymond was an American actor who first performed professionally as a comedy dancer at 15. He danced for 14 years, sometimes solo and sometimes with a comedy dance team, before turning to acting. His films included 4D Man (1959), It Happened at the World's Fair (1963), The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming! (1966), The Reluctant Astronaut (1967), The Ballad of Josie (1967), Bandolero! (1968), and The Undefeated (1969). On television he portrayed Cliff Murdock in Harris Against the World, Karen, and Tom, Dick and Mary, and from 1968 to 1970 he played Mr. Peevy in eleven episodes of The Ghost & Mrs. Muir. In 1966 he guest-starred on Gunsmoke as Dr. Tobias. On Broadway he had roles in Hook n' Ladder (1952) and Pipe Dream (1955), and he also acted in stock theater. He died in 1997.
