Angus MacInnes

Angus MacInnes was a Canadian actor who came out of the University of Windsor's drama program and then studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art on a scholarship, the first Canadian admitted there. After repertory theater work he made his film debut in Rollerball (1975), and he went on to appear in more than 80 film and television productions, working from 1975 until 2016. He was best known as the Rebel pilot Jon Vander, nicknamed Dutch, in the original Star Wars, and he returned to the role almost 40 years later in Rogue One (2016). His other credits included Force 10 from Navarone (1978), Atlantic City (1980), Strange Brew (1983), Witness (1985), Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988), Judge Dredd (1995), Hellboy (2004) and The Black Dahlia (2006). On television he played Sonny Munro in the BBC Scotland soap River City, and he starred in The Glass Menagerie at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
