Plot summary
Sawyer Scott studies at Centre College. An offer of an interview in Washington, D.C. prompts a trip she keeps from her family, and she spends Thanksgiving on the road instead of at home. Holiday traffic on I-64 leads her onto a route that is partly closed, and she drives deeper into the Appalachian forest before turning back. Two brothers, Hollister and Buck, spot her.
