Plot summary
Dave leads a shrinking group of believers who have settled in a church that is falling apart. They are waiting for a sign that will tell them it is time to kill themselves. The members quarrel and have lost heart. To quiet the infighting and give them a reason to go on in the time that is left, Dave passes off a prophecy of his own invention. It orders them to make a movie and present their story to the world. Nobody in the group knows how film production works, so they bring in a director. The project gives the members a purpose they share.
