Plot summary
Adam Yates wants to be in love and has just been dumped again. Nick Webber-Agnew once had a music career, gave it up for his wife Courtney, and now spends his days at a doggie spa. Lou Dorchen, who lives like an overgrown adolescent, ends up in the hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning, which the authorities read as a suicide attempt he denies. To lift him, Adam and Nick take Lou and Adam's nephew Jacob to Kodiak Valley, the ski resort where the three friends spent happier vacations. The town is down on its luck. In the room they once shared during Winterfest '86, the four soak in the hot tub, spill a Russian energy drink on the console, and wake up in 1986, with Adam, Nick and Lou back in their younger bodies.
