Road to Paloma (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Wolf, a Native American, has been on the run since he killed the man who raped his mother, a case the federal courts let go. Six months later he meets Cash, a musician whose marriage has ended, and the two ride north by motorcycle toward his sister's property and on to the Teton range, where Wolf plans to scatter his mother's ashes. In the desert a bloodied boy begs them for help; they find a woman being attacked and Wolf knocks her assailant out. They carry the woman and child to a police station, and the officer there, learning who Wolf's father is, sends them on their way. Wolf and Cash ride into the mountains to hide.
