Plot summary
Erica Wilson's music career has stalled, and her musical partner skips the album release party meant to launch it. Her best friend Amber, a social media influencer, books her a job entertaining guests at an upscale island resort in Mauritius, and Erica accepts, hoping to leave her troubles behind. Barrington, the resort's jack-of-all-trades and a member of her band, welcomes her. She soon learns the job is a wedding singer, and that the groom is Jason, the ex-fiancé who broke up with her shortly before their own wedding. Her first performance goes poorly, and Barrington advises her to sing something that makes her happy.
