Plot summary
On June 3, 2017, Reality Winner comes home to Augusta, Georgia, after grocery shopping and is confronted by FBI agents Taylor and Garrick, who tell her they have a warrant covering a search of her house and belongings. More agents arrive and start going through the house while a recorder picks up the talk. Winner says she is concerned about her dog and cat. She agrees to talk with the two agents in a bedroom the house no longer uses. She teaches yoga and CrossFit and translates Persian for a government contractor.

- Sydney Sweeney prepared to play Reality Winner by watching interviews and speaking with Winner over Zoom and text, mimicking her speaking mannerisms; Sweeney also trained to add muscle using workouts Winner posted on Instagram, and Winner consulted with the wardrobe and art departments during production.
