Plot summary
Vicious, unexplained animal attacks hit the community Sheriff Jim Tanner serves, and nobody there can say what creature is responsible. Tanner and his assistant, Barbara Phillips, work the case. The attacks lead them both to Dr. Hyde, a former military researcher. Hyde once receives government money for a dinosaur cloning project, until that money is cut off, and he keeps the experiments going on foreign backing. When the Pentagon finds out about that support, it sends a strike team, with Tanner and Barbara the people the team is meant to reach and Hyde the man it is meant to stop.
