Plot summary
Eddie and Luis have been detectives with the New York police for years. Eddie is married to Gloria, Luis's sister, and supporting the family is a struggle; he wants to give her a better life. Luis has a girlfriend, Vanessa, and after a long time with her he still flirts with other women. Colette, a well-known Parisian designer, comes to New York with Vincent, one of her executives, because a purse design of hers has been taken and a large ransom is demanded for it. She doubts the French police will act quickly enough, so she hires the two detectives. In Paris they wear disguises and offer suspects big bribes for the bag.
