Plot summary
Sal Bando, a Vietnam veteran, is still haunted by the years he spent cleaning pools. He comes back to Van Nuys, California, a place he no longer recognizes, where Mexican crews run the pool cleaning companies and his old trade has gone on without him. Sal decides the vocation is his and sets out to take it back. He is also hunting Caesar, whom he blames for the deaths of his wife and son.
