Plot summary
David Mitchell sells cars at his father's dealership, applying to customers the same games he runs on women, none of whom he wants to see again. The job, for a father he does not much like, keeps up the payments on the condo of his grandfather Joe Mitchell, who raised him and now lives in a senior community, where he moved after his wife died two years ago. David promised his grandmother he would help Joe find companionship, so he passes on his methods. Joe is unsure about replacing his wife, and he tells David there is more to women than one night stands. David meets Julie Larabee, Rose Sherman's granddaughter; Joe feels most attracted to Rose.
