Bunny Levine
Biography
Bunny Levine was an American actress who built a screen career unusually late, after spending more than twenty years as a school librarian and taking up acting seriously only once she retired. Born Bernice Utal in East Orange, New Jersey, she had studied drama at university and acted in school productions. Her earliest screen appearance was in Slime City (1988), a cult horror comedy, and she had a small role in Cadillac Man (1990). She later moved to Los Angeles and worked full time, becoming a guest player on numerous television series, among them Gilmore Girls, Law & Order, Ugly Betty, and 2 Broke Girls. Her movie credits included La La Land (2016), You Don't Mess With the Zohan (2008), and Sandy Wexler (2017). She continued to act in her nineties, appearing in Sacramento (2025) and Thelma (2024). She died in 2026.
