Plot summary
David Kulovic works as a plumber in New York City and has no success with women. He invents a second identity, David Coppolberg, a film director, as a way to meet them. He is good looking, and he knows little about film, which others read as inscrutability, so people in the film world take him for an indie talent. Toni Edelman wrote a script that he has taken from her, and she builds on his ruse to get her own movie made.
