Plot summary
Alex Anderson works as a photographer for a magazine whose 30th anniversary issue needs a photograph of the blue pearl. Landing that picture would put her in the creative director position. The pearl is a gem that has been missing for many years. Colin Page is the author of the bestselling novel Pearl in Paradise, which is about that gem. His other books have seen their sales fall, and his publisher may let him go; a guest article on the pearl could prevent that. Alex and Colin both head to Fiji to hunt for the gem.
