Plot summary
Port Chester University has outlawed fraternities and made political correctness the rule of campus life, and its admissions office sends visiting high school senior Tom Lawrence to stay at The Pit, the house run by James 'Droz' Andrews, a student of many years who treats it as a base for parties and counter-protests. Tom manages to offend nearly every group on campus. Rand McPherson and the preppy Balls and Shaft want the Greek system restored, and President Garcia-Thompson wants The Pit gone. She meets with Balls and Shaft behind closed doors, then presents the house with a damage bill from the past semester that its residents cannot pay. Droz and his housemates plan a fundraising party to keep the house.
