Plot summary
To answer the question of what love is, Charlyne Yi takes a film crew across the country. Along with Nick, who is directing the trip, she gathers answers from strangers on the street and from scientists, bikers, children and romance novelists, along with the occasional celebrity. Their opinions on modern romance differ, and so do their views on whether true love exists. Partway through filming, Michael Cera turns up at a party, and he and Charlyne get to know each other while the camera crew follows them around. Stop-motion animation illustrates some of the stories people tell, and real couples describe what love means to them.
