Plot summary
Nick once acted on Broadway and now works as the production manager of One Hit Wonderland, a musical built around one-hit wonders, on the night the show opens. Chloe, his ex-girlfriend, is an understudy in the production, so their meetings are awkward. Alex, Nick's assistant, is anxious; a dancer is grieving a dead pet; Brooke, a former Broadway star, needs watching. Minutes before the opening curtain, the dancers Brandy and Malcolm quarrel about men. JC, the headliner and a former boy band singer, will not concentrate, and Nick clears chorus girls out of his dressing room to get him ready.
