Plot summary
Dean's frequent business trips leave his wife Laura in charge of their daughters, Maya and Theo, while she tries to finish her novel. He has prospered at a tech start-up, where young colleagues surround him. Home from a trip, he climbs into bed and kisses her, then stops when he hears her voice. The next day she finds a woman's toiletry bag in his luggage; he says it belongs to his associate Fiona. Laura shares her doubts with her father Felix, a longtime playboy who believes men are wired to cheat. He is sure Dean is having an affair.
