Biography
Melissa Errico is an American actress, singer and recording artist whose career spans Broadway, concerts, jazz, film and television. Born in New York City, she began performing professionally at 12 on the children's series The Great Space Coaster, and took a leave from Yale University to tour as Cosette in Les Misérables. She later starred on Broadway as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and her other Broadway roles include High Society, Anna Karenina, Dracula The Musical, Amour, Oliver! and White Christmas, earning a Tony nomination for Amour. She won a Lucille Lortel Award for One Touch of Venus and a Drama Desk nomination for Passion. Her films include Frequency (2000), Mockingbird Don't Sing (2001), Life or Something Like It (2002), Loverboy (2005), On the Rocks (2020) and The Magnificent Meyersons (2023). She also performs and records songs from the Great American Songbook alongside music by Stephen Sondheim and Michel Legrand.
