Plot summary
His marriage is failing and his debts are mounting when Parker, still grieving the death of his young son, takes up his old work as a private investigator. The job he is offered is an odd one: he must watch a woman from a vacant apartment. Strange things happen around her, and Parker does not know that the rundown building he watches her from holds a dark presence that is beginning to close in on him.
