Plot summary
Leo Carrington is a successful author, and a tough stretch of writer's block has settled in. The next book in his popular series is the one he owes, and the pressure of it pushes him to trade houses with his best friend, Ellie Matthews. The swap puts each of them in the other's home. At Ellie's place he meets Matt, who nudges him past the habits that hold him back and gets him writing in a new direction. The friendship between the two men deepens into something more. Ellie, on her side, has met Sam Perkins, and her own situation follows a similar path.
