Plot summary
Ava, a politician's daughter, is flying from LAX to Los Cabos with her boyfriend Jed and his friend Kyle. Also aboard the Vista Airlines plane are Rosa, a young girl traveling with her grandparents, Ava's bodyguard Brandon and the flight attendant Danilo. Birds bring the aircraft down into the Pacific, and the survivors are left breathing from a pocket of air in the rear of the sinking fuselage. Brandon tells the group to stay put and wait for rescue. The wreckage settles on a rock ledge and then slides deeper. With the air supply limited and sharks in the water outside, the survivors must decide what to do next.
