Plot summary
A time machine lies frozen beneath the ice, and Scrat digs it up while he hunts for somewhere to store his acorn. The machine reads 20,000 B.C. before it throws him and the acorn into the Middle Ages. The acorn lands wedged beneath a large rock, and Scrat pulls the sword Excalibur free to reach it. Archers fire on him, and he blocks their arrows with the blade before hiding in a cannon. The machine sets him down next in the Coliseum of Ancient Rome, where a growl sounds behind him and he fires the machine again to keep after the acorn.
