Plot summary
John and Elliot are best friends who have been fired from every job they have held, and John was kicked out of acting school as well. With their thirtieth birthdays a day away and John's interview with the celebrity Brett Anderson going badly, the two decide they have one day to become famous. Their first scheme involves a camera and a homeless man named Archie, who beats them up when they return for a check and learn that the camera recorded only their feet. Another attempt puts them in a burning building, where an old woman they try to save ends up saving Elliot instead.
