Plot summary
Andrew's relationship with Nico is on again and off again, and Jake, his best friend, decides to do something about it. Jake builds an artificial intelligence named Cristiano and presents him online as Andrew's boyfriend. The invented boyfriend is meant to keep Andrew's awful ex-lover Nico away, and the ruse takes on a life of its own: Cristiano becomes a huge online influencer. Then Andrew meets Rafi, a restaurateur, and falls for him for real. Untangling himself from a boyfriend who exists only on the internet proves hard to do.
