Plot summary
The textile plant belongs to Antonis Delvis, and his daughter Liza has just returned from London to run it, intending to bring its old-fashioned way of managing people up to date. She is full of socialist ideas about employment and they set her at odds both with her father and with the social and political climate of the time. On the factory floor she clashes with Giorgos Nikolaidis, a worker at the plant who rebels against the way things are run there. What begins as friction between the new boss and one of the employees at the plant becomes a romance across class lines.
