Plot summary
A professor who runs a construction company leaves on a business trip abroad and puts Lila Vasileiou, a young architect devoted to her studies and her work, in charge. Her father Thomas walks her to the office on her first day. That same day Alekos Samiotakis, a sub-engineer just back from northern Greece, finds her alone, takes her for the new manager's secretary and flirts with her. Annoyed, she sends him away. The professor returns with the company president, Mr. Makrakis and Alekos to present his replacement, and Alekos learns that Lila is his boss. Lila tells her cousin Athina that the company treats her as a man, and Athina takes this to mean the president, a man much older than Lila, and urges him to speak to her.
