Plot summary
Ilir Luma is a martial arts master who specializes in Mundije, a Pelasgian fighting art. As a boy of fourteen he escaped the communist regime in Albania. Before he left, he saw a poet hanged in the city of Kukes. He made his way to Germany, where he trained at a Taekwondo school. There he met Ana, who became his student and then his girlfriend. He gave her his word that he would always be there when she called. Three decades on, Ana is abducted and taken to Mexico. Ilir learns of the kidnapping and risks his life to rescue her. He sets out for Mexico, ready to face the most dangerous fighters in the world.
