Plot summary
A husband wakes in bed beside his ailing wife and finds that she has died during the night. He lies there for a while, then finally gets out of bed and carries on with his day, working through the to-do list his wife left for him on the fridge. The list sends him out among the people he has to deal with, and his manner with them grows aggressive in ways that are often darkly funny. The story plays as a Canadian dark comedy over the course of that single day, and it becomes clear how badly he is handling the loss of his wife.
