Plot summary
Frank works as a librarian in the United Kingdom. Miranda is an American dancer, and she comes into the library where he works. Frank falls in love with her, and they begin a passionate affair. The affair includes graphic scenes of sex and seduction that show his fantasy and unrealistic love for her. Frank seems naive, but he is as complex as Miranda. Then she disappears, and Frank travels to London to look for her.
