Plot summary
For her sister Clare's wedding, Mattilynn Dupree returns to her home town, where she has just missed out on the promotion she had been working toward and is unsure what comes next. In her father Doc's auto mechanic shop she runs into Jake Henderson, a friend she has not seen since she left, and the chance meeting leaves her wanting to stay. Her ex-boyfriend then arrives hoping to win her back, and her boss telephones with the offer of a better job elsewhere. Mattilynn is torn between the career she had always planned and the home town life she has come to love.
