Big break
In 2008, Shenae Grimes-Beech was cast as Annie Wilson on 90210, the CW spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210, and that role led her to leave both Degrassi: The Next Generation and Canada.
Behind the camera
In late 2011, Grimes directed a music video for the original song "Are You Happy Now?" by Megan and Liz. The project, made with DoSomething.org, was meant to raise awareness about anti-bullying.
