Man of the East (1972) on Netflix

Plot summary

Three stagecoach robbers, Monkey, Holy Joe and Bull, learn that their old partner, an Englishman who left England years earlier, has died, and his letter asks them to make a real man of his son. The son, Sir Thomas Fitzpatrick Phillip Moore, comes west with a bicycle, a taste for poetry and no wish to touch a gun, and the lessons the trio attempt go badly. In town Tom meets Candida, the landowner's daughter, who asks a trader for books of Lord Byron, which Tom can supply where the trader cannot. Morton, who manages her father's ranch, has his own eye on Candida.
