Plot summary
A crew of American documentarians, on assignment for an edgy media company, travels to South America to make a film about a local musician. Their ineptitude puts them in the wrong country, in a rural Argentine town that is not their destination. There they collaborate with the townspeople on an attempt to fabricate a viral trend, and connections blossom between the two groups. A health crisis looms in the background of the trip, unacknowledged by the crew.
