Lucky Stars Go Places (1986) on Netflix

Plot summary

Police superintendent Walter Tso brings in Kidstuff, a former thief, for a case of ammunition trading across borders. The Japanese Yakuza, who hold stolen diamonds, are dealing with terrorists sitting on a stockpile of ammunition. At the police station Kidstuff runs into Quito, a friend from their orphanage days, and her husband, the inspector Albert, takes the embrace he sees between them the wrong way. Kidstuff turns to his old Lucky Stars gang for help, but they have gone into robbery and refuse, so he builds a new team: Top Dog, who can speak to dogs, the corrupt Fat Cat, the martial arts expert Lambo, the timid beat cops Long Legs and Libbogen, and Yum Yum, a police inspector sent to train them in combat and disguise.
