Plot summary
In Hong Kong, Inspector Ng breaks up the theft of an armored car. Across the city, a meeting between a Westerner named Richard Nornen and an assassin ends badly, and Nornen is killed. Two small-time crooks, Asprin and Strepsil, slip into the room to pick pockets and leave with his passport. None of them knows that a microfilm is hidden inside it, listing criminals including the crooked businessman Mr. Tin. Ng arrives at the scene and recognizes the dead man as a man she was romantically involved with. Word comes that Nornen had been working undercover and the film is missing, so Carrie Morris, an inspector from Scotland Yard, is sent to help recover it. Asprin and Strepsil, meanwhile, take the passport to their forger friend Panadol.
