Plot summary
Ryuichi Yamamoto, a criminally insane scientist, moves his mind into a robot body and abducts an Arabian prince, demanding a ransom from the prince's father to fund a legion of robots. Officer Selena Lin dies while trying to save the prince. Because of her record as a policewoman, the scientist Dr. Sara moves Selena's mind into a robot built to copy her human form, Eve-27. Selena goes back on duty, and neither her fellow officers nor Chou, the policeman she is seeing, know that she died. Chou leads a police taskforce that includes Dr. Sara, her robot assistant Ann and Selena; it hunts for the prince and Yamamoto through the murders of prostitutes.

- Robotrix was perhaps the first film for general release in Hong Kong cinema to show a Chinese adult male's genitals in full frontal nudity, in a scene featuring actor Billy Chow as the robot version of the Japanese scientist Ryuichi Yamamoto. The film also featured frequent female full-frontal nudity.
- Cast member Vincent Lyn described the making of Robotrix as one wild shoot, with the cast and crew all over the place and people lucky to find out what they were doing before the cameras rolled. He said he spent more time laughing on the set than anything else.
