Plot summary
After the mission in Supercop, Inspector Jessica Yang helps stop a terrorist attack and barely survives it, earning the Highest Distinction. Chang, her boyfriend, served in a war and works as a security guard. He helped her during the operation and is bitter that the risk she took brought her only a medal. He moves to Hong Kong, vowing to return a millionaire and marry her. Some time later, Hong Kong police face a gang of heavily armed robbers they believe are former soldiers from the Mainland, and they ask the Chinese Public Security for help. Yang is sent to Hong Kong to share intelligence and works alongside Inspector Lee, whose crush on her makes things awkward.
