Plot summary
Aaron Wickersham, a documentary director, is making a film about the 1999 shooting at the Brentley School and asks Ani FaNelli to tell her side of it. Dean Barton, a classmate from those years, has agreed to appear. Ani, who writes a column for a New York women's magazine and is planning her wedding to Luke Harrison, turns him down. Luke has been offered a job in London and suggests she take a writing program there. At dinner with a couple he knows, she meets Andrew Larson, a teacher from her Brentley days. Flashbacks return to TifAni's arrival at the school and the popular group she joins, among them Dean, Liam and Peyton.
