Plot summary
A matchmaking agency in Budapest called Lovemakers is short of money when a questionable Russian oligarch retains it for a single assignment. The agency must make Jake Griffin, a young movie star from Hollywood who is in Budapest for a shoot, fall in love with the oligarch's younger sister, a Russian woman he calls spoiled and others describe as depressed and high-maintenance. The matchmakers are small-time Hungarian operators, and the task runs on mistaken identities. Pulling it off brings a million dollars, enough to clear the agency's debts. Failure is a different matter: the oligarch has made clear that the agency pays with its lives.
