Plot summary
Sol is an aspiring rapper who leaves everything behind when a group of young musicians discovers him at a party and invites him on their tour through the heart of Texas. He travels with Seven, Nina, Froggy, Mao, Kai and Big Loko as the band heads out West. The group bonds over the pains and longings of the lives they left behind, and the musicians pour themselves into the music they create together.

- Director Katherine Propper met aspiring rapper Sauve Sidle on Craigslist in 2016 while casting a school project at the University of Texas; he later played the lead in her short film Street Flame, which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.
- Sauve Sidle, who plays Sol, moved to Los Angeles in 2018, toured with Juice Wrld and joined a collective with rapper Lil Mosey; his experiences as an indie rapper on tour inspired the screenplay of Lost Soulz.
