Plot summary
Tommy Ward is a hitman and an ex-pat. He kills a relative of London's biggest crime lord by mistake and has to go on the run. He takes refuge in Los Angeles, where the crime boss Benson becomes his new employer. Tommy has a son of his own back in Britain and wants to get home to him. Benson will arrange safe passage to the UK if Tommy does something in return: Julian, Benson's socially awkward son, has to learn how to become a man, and Tommy is the one who must teach him. Julian wants his own father's approval.
