Locked In (2023) on Netflix

Plot summary

Katherine Carter, a former television star, wakes in a hospital after a severe accident, paralyzed and unable to speak. Nicky Mackenzie, the nurse caring for her, tries to restore her control and asks Katherine's adopted daughter, Lina, about the family. In flashbacks, the household comes apart: Katherine's wealthy husband left the estate to his son Jamie, and Katherine resented her disinheritance. Lina, taken in as a child after her mother died, became Jamie's caregiver and later his wife, which left Katherine bitter about the family estate. Dr. Robert Lawrence, the family doctor, starts an affair with Lina as she struggles with her isolated life.
