Plot summary

Mado is nearing 50, without work, hungry for attention, and she lives in the home of her daughter Avril and her son-in-law. Avril is 30, married and holds a salaried job, and she goes about her life in a way that is the exact opposite of her mother's. The two women are inseparable, even so. Mado is an eternal teenager, carefree and brash, in the middle of a midlife crisis, and Avril struggles to see her mother in the role of a mother. Then Mado learns that she is expecting, at the same time as her pregnant daughter, under the same roof. Mado is not prepared to be a grandmother.
