Plot summary

Letters are sent to Paul Morrissey, a collaborator of Andy Warhol at the Factory and the director of Flesh, Trash and Heat. The writers come from different parts of the globe. Udo Strauss, an alias for Udo Kier, writes from 1970s Berlin, rejecting a world where people want to be rich and nobody cares about human value. Olena Wood mentions Nico and recalls the success of Chelsea Girls, the painful time since and the decline of film. Hiroko Tanaka carries a strange illness called hoissuru, a frequency that follows the songs of Françoise Hardy and can produce a perfect love song, and she looks for ways to be free of the pain. Other stories involve a man in search of salvation, an actress who has not found success, two lovers under a curse and a star of underground cinema.
