Plot summary
Humberto Suárez is an aging multi-millionaire who weighs what he will leave behind when he turns eighty. He sets aside the idea of a bridge and chooses to finance a film. He brings in the reclusive director Lola Cuevas to adapt Rivalry, a Nobel Prize-winning novel about one brother who cannot forgive the other for their parents' deaths in a drunk-driving crash. The two roles go to the stage actor Iván Torres, who studies his character's past in depth, and the Hollywood celebrity Félix Rivero, who thinks those methods are pointless.
