Plot summary
Mocked as Cerdita by Maca, Roci and Claudia, Sara lives in a village in Extremadura. One summer day she visits the local pool, where the three find her, attack her and take her backpack and clothes. She walks home along a back road in her bathing suit, with a group of men chasing her, and reaches a side road where a van is parked. Claudia appears at its window, pleading with Sara for help, and Sara stands frozen. The driver looks at her, leaves a towel and drives away. At home she tells no one what she saw; questioned by her mother Asun and the Civil Guard, she denies having been at the pool.
