Plot summary
In medieval France, the nobleman Richard mourns his wife Leonor, who is lost in an accident and laid in the family vault. He marries again and has children by his second wife, but his longing for Leonor does not leave him. Ten years later he makes a pact with the devil, trading his soul for the chance to have her back. What comes back is not the woman he buried: it is a vampire, a woman who rises from her crypt at night. Around Richard are Catherine and Jeanne, a chaplain, a doctor and a priest. The story is a French, Italian and Spanish production.
