Plot summary
An ex-lover gets in touch with Dean, a graphic designer in Los Angeles, hoping to rekindle the relationship. The two have not seen or heard from each other in fifteen years. Around the same time, Dean notices a sudden change in his eyesight that comes with middle age. The two plan a weekend together at a desert house near Joshua Tree, where they must decide whether they have a future together. Over those days, passions are rekindled and secrets are revealed, and the reunion threatens to upend both of their lives.
